The Sixth Annual Desert Open Studios invites art lovers, collectors, and the curious to join our tour. It is completely free and self-directed for a personal art experience like no other. Desert Open Studios (2024)-

Ernesto joined 154 artists who work throughout the Coachella Valley for the annual Desert Open Studios in January.

City of Palm Springs Public Arts Commision Project (2022) -

Ernesto was selected by the City of Palm Springs to design/paint a city electrical box. He's recently completed the box! It's located right on the corner of East Via Escuela & North Sunrise Way (1751 block). 


City of Los Angeles - Latino Heritage
Month (2021, 2022 & 2025) -

In September of each year for Latino Heritage Month, the City of Los Angeles, Department of Cultural Affairs paintings which are featured in their Latino Heritage Month Calendar and Cultural Guide.  


​Palm Springs Pride (2021) -
​
Ernesto shared his original works of art, prints & T-shirts at the Palm Springs Pride Festival.

Cathedral City Public Bench Beautification Project (2021) -

In July 2021, Ernesto completed a city bench for Cathedral City located in front the Cathedral City Library entrance. Titled "Mexican Tablecloth/Roses", it's located at 33520 Date Palm Drive, Cathedral City, California 92234.

Backstreet Art District/Stephen Baumbach Gallery Murals (2021) -
​
Ernesto completed a series of murals at Backstreet Art District for the Stephen Baumbach Gallery in Palm Springs, California.  Please come by and take a selfie! The murals are located at 4116 Matthew Drive, Palm Springs, California 92264.

City of Palm Springs Main Street Bench Project (2020/2021) -

​Ernesto completed four (4) city benches in Palm Springs, California all located on the popular Palm Canyon Boulevard. Two (2) benches are on the north 300 block in front of La Quinta Brewing Co./Bongo Johnny's. One (1) bench is on the north 450 block in front of Palm Canyon Galleria/Blue Coyote. One (1) more bench, titled "Desert Life", is located on South Palm Canyon Boulevard on the 155 block in front of Fame Cigars & Wine Shop.
